Job Development Sales Fundamentals
The Job Development Sales Fundamentals is a comprehensive training course that assists Employment Consultants in improving job development skills and increased outcomes with employers. The course contains valuable information and is designed from a business perspective to prepare job developers to effectively communicate with employers and increase placement of their job seekers.
This training is a two-day, four-hour per day class.
Day 1: May 23rd, 8:30am-12:30pm
Day 2: May 24th, 8:30am- 12:30pm
The day will consist of a power point presentation, exercises, and role playing. A post class assignment of getting a current employer advocate statement as well as getting a referral from a current employer is required.
A 50-page Job Development Sales Fundamentals manual is included in the training. It provides guidance in the training as well as a future reference for the Job Developer.
Learning Objectives:
- Design a customized employment approach for job candidates
- Learn various ways to network, research, cold call and make business introductions
- Demonstrate ability to present features and benefits of hiring a job candidate
- Ability to perform informational interviews, and marketing proposals to employers
- Learn how to overcome employer objections
