2023 Paddle Oregon Registration 

Join Willamette Riverkeeper for our annual Paddle Oregon adventure!

Together we will enjoy four, sun-ripened days down the magnificent Willamette River. It’s here you’ll experience the river in a markedly different way, with delicious catered meals, nightly entertainment, lots of laughs, a locally produced wine and beer selection, and memories for a lifetime!

WHEN: August 17 - 20, 2023 

WHERE: All Paddle Oregon participants will launch at Peoria Park near Corvallis, Oregon and take out in the Salem area. 

COST: $799.00 for adults and $649.00 for minors (under 18)

Registration for Paddle Oregon includes four days of paddling on the river, three nights of camping under the stars, catered meals, daily baggage shuttle, entertainment, educational opportunities, safety paddlers, ACA event insurance and a 2023 Paddle Oregon t-shirt*.

*Tees will not be guaranteed for folks who register after July 20, 2023.

Optional add on's include:

Kayak rentals, canoe rentals, painting workshop and an event shuttle.

Participants need to provide their own paddling gear*, camping gear*, coffee cup, water bottle,  and toiletries.

*Note: if paddling or camping gear is an obstacle to your particiaption please let us know. We may have a solution.

During the event, you will be able to sign up for onsite massage* and purchase from a selection of nightly beer and/or wine**.

PAYMENT: Payments can be made via check or credit card, although checks are the prefered method because Willamette Riverkeeper incurs $50+ in fees per registration completed with credit card payments.

KAYAK RENTALS: Reach out to Alder Creek to secure your kayak rental at 503-285-0464. Willamette Riverkeeper will not be available to set up kayak rentals for you. 

CANCELLATION POLICY: 

50% refunds can be issued up to July 15, 2023. No refunds after this time unless the event needs to be rescheduled due to hazardous conditions, in which case, we will provide a 50% refund for those who cannot attend the rescheduled date. No transfers.

BY REGISTERING FOR PADDLE OREGON, YOU AGREE TO THE FOLLOWING:

- You agree to being comfortable paddling 10 - 20 miles per day in potentially hot August weather.
- You agree to possess experience and
familiarity with paddling. This includes, but is not limited to reverse paddling, navigating river bends, paddling upstream, understanding river features, recognizing hazards and ferrying.

ALL PARTICIPANTS NEED TO MEET TWO OF THE FOLLOWING:

  • Paddling experience on moving water (strong river currents, eddies, etc.) within the last 2 years.
  • Moving water paddling instruction within the last 4 years.
  • Previous participation in Paddle Oregon.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS FOR PARTICIPANTS 17 AND UNDER:

  • All minors must be accompanied on the trip by an adult, though they can paddle in their own watercraft as long as they meet both of the following requirements.
  • All minors must have had a wet exit and rescue training/experience or will be required to paddle with an adult.
  • All minors need to know how to swim.
