Trauma and The Young Child; The Early Educator’s Guide to Observing, Acknowledging, and Responding to Trauma Effectively

The purpose of this training is to help early childhood professionals gain a better understanding of trauma, recognize the developmental context of trauma in early childhood, and extend their own knowledge for intervention. This training will assist early childhood professionals as they prepare to recognize and address trauma in a way that supports and protects the child, as well as his or her family. This training will offer information and skills needed to enable early childhood professionals to respond effectively, link children and their families to valuable resources, and when needed, effective therapeutic intervention.
