“Bridging The Gap: Mitigating The Stress In Law Enforcement Relationships”- Stress on the job is a normal part of every officer's life. While not everyone who is in Law Enforcement will experience PTSI, we don’t always have the tools to deal with the inherent stress and are vulnerable to the breakdown of our most important relationships, and, ultimately our mental health. Bridging the gap between how to manage stress on the job and using effective tools to communicate with loved ones is essential for the life of a Law Enforcement family.  -Understand the barriers to communication that most Law Enforcement families deal with day in and day out.

 -Learn from the spouse of a Law Enforcement Officer, and how they deal with PTSD in their relationship.

 -Understand how stress on the job can impact LEO and their family members. Learn how to unpack the negative emotions in your rucksack before they become conflict igniters in your relationship. 

-Discuss difficult topics in any relationship using the Empathetic Communication Framework that is proven to create a safe environment to share.

BREAKOUT SESSIONS BY STRONGER FAMILIES

Breakout for Law Enforcement Officers

In this 1.5 hrs. breakout session, Noel and the team will get in the weeds with Law Enforcement Officers on how to build better communication skills and tools with the people they care about and how to use those skills in managing a Law Enforcement Officer’s ongoing transitions in their career and life at home. 

Breakout for Law Enforcement Family Members

In this 1.5 hrs. breakout session, Noel and the team will talk to the family members of Law Enforcement Officers about what a healthy family network would look like, what tools can be used to build a better network for your family, and understand connection through communication.

The weekend will also include:
