The 2023 Walk for Cats will be offered In-person at the shelter on Sunday, June 11th or you can walk in your own neighborhood as a Virtual Walker.
In-person Walkers will pick up their shirts at the shelter on Sunday, June 11th. The two-mile route begins and ends at Harmony House, 2914 N Elston. Doors open at 10:30 am. There will be an Open House with the cats 12-1 pm.
Virtual Walkers can complete their Walk on any day in mid-June. It can take place on your street, in a nearby park, or you can even walk on a treadmill at home. You can walk the typical two-mile distance all at once, in smaller amounts over several days, or choose a distance that is just right for you. Be sure to register by Sunday, June 11th to receive your 2023 Walk shirt designed by Ilyse Zincone. Shirts will be mailed to Virtual Walkers following the event.
Ask your friends and family to support you by making a pledge. Supporters can make checks out directly to Harmony House for Cats. Let them know that every pledge is a tax-deductible donation.
