"Bloom Where You are Planted"
We're so excited to offer another great Summer Retreat at beautiful Rainbow Lodge, nestled in the woods at the base of Mt. Si, in North Bend, Washington!! Now that restrictions have lifted and our masks are off, we're ready for another fun filled weekend of in-person love, laughter, and commaraderie! This year we're going to dive into how we can grow our recovery no matter the situation we find ourselves. We have three inspiring, interactive workshops planned that will be educational, thought provoking, and enlightening. And best of all, we'll be spending the weekend nurtured by nature where we can focus on ourselves!

Workshop One
Bloom Where You Are Planted
presented by
Mary Fredericksen
Recovery Specialist, Interventionist, Sage Counseling and Coaching
Mary Fredericksen’s experience in the field of addiction spans two decades, including five years in an outpatient treatment setting and 15 years in a residential treatment setting. She has been both a counselor and a director of a 45-bed residential adolescent treatment center. She attributes her ability to form connections with young adults to her own recovery at a young age. For the past seven years, her focus has been working closely with adult patients and family members, educating them about the disease and preparing them for discharge by connecting them to services that will contribute to thier ongoing recovery.
Mary has seen the value of involving the family members and the Person of Concern when facilitating an intervention. She undersands the urgency to get the concerned person help, but also knows the importance of well-planned intervention. Mary is currently obtaining her ARISE Interventionist certification. She also held a Chemical Dependency certification for ten years in Washington State.
Mary’s goal is to help support and educate clients and family members that are impacted by addiction. She would be honored to help your client and their family navigate this journey through intervention, recovery coaching, and providing relapse prevention services. When substance abuse counselors and recovery coaches work in tandem, the client has a greater chance at overall success. The added recovery coaching support increases their ability to complete outpatient treatment.
