Gender Equity: Building Inclusive Leadership, Policy, and Practice for Violence Prevention 

Gender equity requires addressing historically marginalized identities. This training will identify the intersections of sexism, heterosexism, transphobia, homophobia, and Sexual and Intimate Partner Violence (SV/IVP) prevention. Participants will explore building leadership opportunities and representation in organizations, schools, businesses, and public office for women, gender-expansive people, and others from historically marginalized genders. Specific strategies for economic justice such as pay equity, organizational policy, and others will be discussed.

This training will take place at the Hilton Sacramento Arden West in Sacramento, CA on Thursday, June 8th, 2023, from 10am to 5pm, and Friday, June 9th, 2023, from 9am to 3pm.
