2023 Greater Union Grove Area Chamber of Commerce 4th of July Parade Sign Up 

We are excited to have you participate in the Greater Union Grove Area Chamber of Commerce 4th of July Parade!

Theme:  Star Spangled Everything

Parade begins at 9:15am sharp!!

**Roads will start to close at 8:30am**

• Floats:  Anyone entering and wishing to be judged should register as a FLOAT for an opportunity win a CASH PRIZE!!
• Judging:  Takes place at 8am and enteries must be in position and fully decorated with all participants
• Route:  The parade route runs from the Racine Co. Fairgrounds parking lot East on Hwy 11 to North on Hwy 45
• Check-In:  Will be at the Racine Co. Fairgrounds parking lot starting at 7am.  Enter the fairgrounds via Hwy 45
• Drop Off:  Participant drop off should enter and exit using the Old Settlers Park gate on Hwy 11

Parade Rules

For the safety and enjoyment of those watching and for our participants, please obey the following rules:

• All enteries must be decorated to participate 
• Participants who have floats or large entries must have people walking alongside.  This is to help control kids who may run up to the entry/float. 
• Animal entries must have a walker with a shovel and bucket at the end of the parade to help clean up after animals.  There is a $20 registration fee (non-refundable) with animals for any post parade cleaning.  
• Candy can only be distributed by individuals 12 years of age and older. 
• Candy must be directed away from parade entries. 
• When using water or tossing giveaway items - be cautious and mindful of the spectators. 
• Please help the Parade Volunteers in keeping the parade route and surrounding roads clear of litter by securing all decorations and signs prior to the start of the parade.  

Registration Deadline:  June 23, 2023

**Please note that any animal participating in the 4th of July Parade must be registered by the deadline.**

Absolutely, NO animals will be accepted as a same day registration.  A negative coggins test will be required to be on file for all horse entries.

As a participant, please understand that the Union Grove 4th of July parade is funded strictly by donations.  In order to continue this wonderful event, we respectfully request a contrbution be made to the Union Grove July 4th Parade Fund.
