HET BBQ Dinner - June 19, 2023
to benefit the
Preserving Black Haddonfield History Project
Please join us for HET's Annual BBQ Buffet Dinner on Monday, June 19, 2023 to benefit Haddonfield Public Schools.
Your contributions enable multi-year improvement projects, such as Haddonfield school campus beautification, playground equipment, innovative teacher grants and more.
Proceeds from the June 19, 2023 HET BBQ Dinner will benefit the Preserving Black Haddonfield History Project. Since its inception last year, The Preserving Black Haddonfield History Project (PBHHP) has fostered meaningful connections among Haddonfield Memorial High School alumni, educators, students, and residents both past and present. The PBHHP aims to strengthen Haddonfield’s reputation as a welcoming town by amplifying and preserving its long overlooked African-American residents, their descendants, businesses, and other institutions. Currently, PBHHP is advancing their work by meeting a challenge grant provided by The Haddonfield Foundation, and funds raised from the HET BBQ Dinner will help us to meet that challenge. Additional donations are also welcome! These funds and the matching grant will underwrite the implementation of a Walking Tour and Historical Marker Program in Haddonfield.
