Transformed by Grace: Unleashing Healing Power through Christ

 2023 Rostered Leaders Retreat

“Come to the Well Retreat” – Part Three

You are invited to a three-day retreat where you can experience healing, reconnect with others, and learn new spiritual practices that will renew your soul. This gift is made possible through a generous grant from the Lutheran Disaster Relief-US to the Florida-Bahamas Synod.

The retreat will take place September 11 – 13, 2023 in Clearwater Beach, Florida at the Sheraton Sand Key Resort and is presented by Living RED. The cost of all activities, meals, a single room, and optional healing modalities are covered. You only need to cover your transportation to the event. While most sessions and activities will be at the resort, there will be a special group dinner at the Columbia Restaurant and an evening of Taizé Worship and fellowship at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Clearwater.

Throughout the event you will worship each day and practice sitting in the presence of God through Lectio Divina and meditation; you will experience the gift of music and vibrational sound therapy; you will be prayed over and offered Divine Love; you will learn a method of re-authoring your story through a biblical lens that allows healing from past hurt points; you will engage in meaningful discussions with your colleagues; you will be taught tools to help reduce stress and anxiety as you process through the enormous emotional load you juggle each day. There will be time to receive individual care by the presenters who blend faith and energy medicine together to help you reach wholeness in mind, body and spirit.

Jesus reminds us of the greatest commandment in Matthew 22, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment.  And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’” As clergy, it is easy to love God and your neighbor, join us on this retreat as you practice loving yourself.
