DESCRIPTION: Civic engagement is an important student learning outcome, but what exactly is it? In this webinar a distinction is made between political and non-political civic engagement and resources are provided for the assessment of political civic engagement. The knowledge, skills, values and actions that constitute civic learning and democratic engagement will be discussed and assessment results from James Madison University provided.
