BRAILLE BY SIGHT- BEGINNER COURSE

The Florida School for the Deaf and the Blind is excited to present the Virtual Beginning Braille Course for parents/guardians, Educators and community members who want to learn Braille. This class will provide an opportunity to learn the basics of braille.

This online beginner braille course is FREE for eligible Florida residents.

Who is this braille course for? Parents, family members, teachers, care-givers, neighbors, and community members working with students who are blind or visually impaired.

Why attend these braille classes? To help your child, your friend, your parents, your co-worker, or to just learn something new for yourself.

Where are the classes? Classes will be held virtually (You'll recieve a link to attend the class after you register).

When are these classes? Classes start Monday October 2, 2023

*Note: Each week lessons will be designed for participants with examples, time for questions, strategies, and independent practice using the RESOURCES AND MATERIALS provided free of charge to each registarnt. The Virtual Beginning Braille Course is intended for adults(not students).
