American Sign Language (ASL)

  ONLINE INTERACTIVE COURSE


FSDB Online American Sign Language (ASL) Classes 

FALL Session begins the week of September 11, 2023 - November 01, 2023.

8 week session, 1 hour classes, various days/times available.

These classes use an interactive, online platform and use the True Way ASL (TWA) curriculum.  

  • This class is offered to Florida residents only. 

  • Priority registration goes to educators working directly with a student who is deaf or hard of hearing (DHH) and parents/guardians of a child that is deaf or hard of hearing (DHH). 

  • Classes are kept small to impact participant learning. If you miss the first class or cannot commit to weekly attendance you will be dropped from the class. We will do our best to accommodate needs. If you do not get into a class now and qualify (Parent/Educator) you will be placed on a wait list. 

  • Communications will occur through email correspondence. Please check your email regularly. It is also possible that our emails could end up in your spam folder so please check. 

  • Classes meet virtually using ZOOM, each participant has access to the TWA curriculum which is provided free of charge.
