What You Will Learn

Now that the horse’s body has been unwound and rebalanced from the Level 1 work, the next step is to bring it back to proper form, function and vitality! 

 Continue deepening your knowledge of holistic horsecare and bodywork in our Level 2 Clinic, "Equine Cranio Sacral Unwinding & Advanced Kinesiology." 

 By the end of this course, you will excel ant identifying and resolving problem areas with your horse yourself. Plus, you gain the knowledge you need to keep them performing at their best for many years to come.

How to asses equine health:

• Fascia, muscle, and tension release
• Concepts in Cranio Sacral Therapy
• Concepts in Applied Kinesiology
• Concepts in Acupressure
• How to release physical blockages
• How to release stuck energy
• How to support your horse's total wellbeing

In this 3-day hands-on class we will go deeper into the horse's body to release cranial bones as well as inner core muscles and Fascia. Releasing these areas helps organs, tendons, ligaments, bones, joints, and more relax so that the body can function more smoothly. 

Many horses with problems like Uveitis, Kissing Spine, Wobblers Syndrome, and String-Halt have had their lives saved or wholly altered from the techniques you will learn in this course. Return those labeled as "unfixable" to healthy, sound lives full of longevity.

Then what else is next? A lot! We use advanced Applied Kinesiology to ask where there is pain in the body and what physical or energetic blockages need to be released so the horse can heal. We will also look at energy meridians, how they affect your horse, and what you can do about it.

You will find that the area that is painful and lame is not always where it starts! Discover how to trace problems back through to the original, root cause.

We're IICT Approved

Equine Musculosksletal Unwinding is a registered modality with the International Institute or Complementary Therapists. This means that the Holistic Horseworks program, put together by April Love, is recognized as a modality in its own right.

This registration provides the modality with an extra layer of creadbility while opening new doors to our students, practitioners, and instructors. Soon we hope also to be able to offer continuing education credits.

For future students who wish to turn this into a profession, you can now join IICT and get cheaper insurance while you train with us to become a practitioner!

About the Instructor

As a horse trainer, April noticed that horses often labeled as "problem horses" were really just in some kind of pain or discomfort, and people we're often quick to get rid of them. In her training as an equine musculoskeletal release specialist and the subsequent development of her signature Equine Musculoskeletal Unwinding, she learned to listen to the horses that came discovering that at the heart of each “trouble horse” that was in pain, there was actually a willing equine partner eager to do what was asked of them. 

Equine therapy and bodywork is an ever growing industry! By enrolling in this course, you will not only gain the tools you need to help your own horse, but also other people and their horse's too.
