Gidget Slater brings to Slater & Rutherford over 30 years of experience as a CPA and 15 years as a partner with Slater & Rutherford in Prescott. She started her career at the international firm Deloitte & Touche where she was an auditor for 4 years in Orange County and San Francisco, obtaining her CPA certificate in 1992. For the next nine years in the San Francisco area, she worked in various accounting and financial management positions at public and pre-IPO companies in the medical distribution, software, and high-tech industries. With Slater & Rutherford, she enjoys assisting small businesses and non-profit organizations be financially successful. Gidget graduated from UC Santa Barbara with a BA in Business Economics with Honors. She is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, and the Arizona Society of CPAs. She served on the Board of the Prescott Area Habitat for Humanity as Treasurer in 2001-2002. She currently serves as Treasurer for Santa Fe Springs Office Park POA and the Greater Prescott Area Tax Credit Coalition. She has a daughter, Mackenzie, who is 21 and a son, Slater, who is 19. She enjoys hiking with her dog Bella, cooking, and glamping.
