Communication: What Parents Of Neurodiverse Kids Need To Know!

This meeting is for parents, caregivers, family members, family partners, and peer leaders with experience supporting children with emotional, behavioral, or mental health needs. Young adults and recovery coaches also welcome!

This meeting will cover:

  • The four forms of communication
  • The role that executive function plays in neurodiverse communication
  • The differences between emotional and cognitive communication
  • How to tell if someone is communicating emotionally or cognitively
