Wednesday October 18 from 6pm - 8:30pm

• Evening reception at 15th Street Fisheries with speaker Dewey Morrison: Firefighting Foam Concentrate: Where We Were, Where We Are and Where Are We Going? The world of flammable liquid fire response is currently experiencing dramatic changes when it comes to firefighting foam chemicals. Dewey Morrison is at the forefront of the subject and will speak on the latest developments.  Please arrange your own transportation to the restaurant located at 1900 SE 15th St, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33316.

Thursday October 19 from 9am - 1:30pm

• Tour of Resolve Academy. Situated in Port Everglades, Resolve Marine’s state-of-the art fire and flood simulators have trained 50,000 students since the inception of the academy in 1994

• Tour of Resolve’s 40,000 square feet warehouse that houses emergency response and OPA 90 packages, diving equipment and launch and recovery systems for subsea diving operations. Mix and mingle with salvage masters, naval architects and project managers. Led by Eric Smith, Director of Global Shared Resources of Resolve Marine

• Catered lunch at LauderAle, Fort Lauderdale’s first nanobrewery

Please note: Bus transportation will be provided on Thursday from the Hyatt Place hotel to both tours and lunch, then will return to the hotel after lunch.  (*You must bring your driver’s license ID, as its information will need to be gathered in advance of the shuttle ride to the Academy.)
