Local Word Youth Day 2023

High school students can attend with a chaperone, and they can come with a parent or with their parish youth group

Cost: $20.00 (lunch included)

Noon: Registration (Pilgrim Reception) and Lunch
12:30: Kick-off!  

~Pilgrim Welcome

~Small Group Encounter

~Rise Up Encounter

1:30 – 2:25: City of Joy  

~Festival / Activity stations
2:25 – 2:55: Pilgrimage Talks

~Visit sites around the campus with speakers sharing their experiences.

3:00 – 4:00: Mass and Send-Off

WYD - SEATTLE - AUGUST 5th

9:30: Check-in 

10:00: Mass at St. James

10:50: Pilgrim walk begins: 

~Stop at Chapel of St. Ignatius at Seattle University

~Walk to Immaculate Conception

Noon: Lunch at Immaculate Conception

12:30: Small Group Encounter 

1:00: Adoration

1:30: Return to St. James/Isaac Orr Conference Room

2:00 Holy Father’s address to young people

~Blessing/Send-off following message

REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS: If you are registering yourself and other individuals (family member or youth/young adult group), please register yourself as the individual and continue the same registration, adding your group members by clicking the "add" button under the "Group" registration section. As you add members, both the individual and group members' information and fees will be tallied and added to your registration.

REQUIRED PERMISSON FORMS: Please review the links below for required permission forms and waivers. Please print, fill out and turn in at check-in or give to your youth minister.

YOUTH (UNDER 18): Parent/Guardian Consent Form (Spanish)

ADULTS/CHAPERONES: Adult Liability Release  (Spanish)

PAYMENT: If selecting "At Door" option, payment is due at check-in. Cash and check only. Please make check out to CCAS.
