Join MBTA for our annual Fall Convention at the Samoset Resort in Rockport!

Friday,  September 15:

FALL GOLF TOURNAMENT: Golf is SOLD OUT, but please email us if you would like to be on a wait list. Friday morning golf tournament at the beautiful Samoset Golf Club, with registration beginning at 7 am and an 8:30 am shotgun start. Join golfers for a BBQ lunch and reception after the tournament - open to everyone. For golfers it is included in registration fees, and is available to non-golfers for $55.

RECEPTION, DINNER & AUCTION: MBTA members, family and friends will gather at 5:30 pm for a Reception followed by a traditional Downeast Lobster Bake (featuring lobster, chicken and steak) and live and silent auctions to benefit the MBTA Infrastructure Development Fund. There is no space limit but please register by August 18 for Friday evening events.

Central Maine Auction Center and the Tilton Family will be running the auction, so it promises to be an entertaining event! 

Saturday, September 16:

Schooner Cruise of Camden Habor:  The Schooner Appledore will offer two cruise times, with a 10 am departure, and another one at 1 pm. There is a limit of 49 per cruise on a first-come, first-served basis. Cost is $100 (children 12 and under $50). 

Shuttle services will run continuously from the Samoset to Camden from 9 am to 4 pm on Saturday, for use by any Convention attendees.  

Wine tasting: Wine tasting event is SOLD OUT, but please let us know if you would like to be on a wait list. Wine tasting reception will be held at the Samoset on Saturday from 3:30 to 5:30 pm. Cost is $35 per person and includes wine and hors d'oeuvres.

The beautiful midcoast area offers many opportunities for recreation, culture, shopping and more. Try hiking the Camden Hills, kayaking or other water sports, or visit the many boutiques, shops, galleries and museums throughout the area. Chocolate making, winery and brewery tours are also available at some local venues.
