Reinforced Concrete Course
The Southern Nevada Chapter of the International Code Council (SN-ICC) will be hosting a six-session course, "Reinforced Concrete 2023," starting Saturday, July 22nd at the Clark County Building Department Training and Presentation Room in Las Vegas, located at 4701 Russell Road.
Classes will meet in the same location for SIX CONSECUTIVE Saturdays from 8am to 1pm. The final class will be held Saturday, August 26th.
ICC has approved this class for 3.0 CEUs (30 hours)
Registration is required and limited to SN-ICC members ONLY.

Course Overview:
Prepare for the ICC Reinforced Concrete exam with this comprehensive course led by Jon Toll, an experienced Senior Lead Special Inspector with over 18 years of field experience. Through interactive lectures and practical examples, participants will delve into reinforced concrete design principles, construction techniques, troubleshooting methods, and the practical application of publications.

- Exploring construction techniques, materials, and quality control procedures specific to reinforced concrete structures.
- Analysis of common challenges and troubleshooting methods encountered in reinforced concrete construction.
- Comprehensive study of the ACI 318-14 and Concrete Manual publications, highlighting their application in reinforced concrete design and construction.
- Preparation for the ICC Reinforced Concrete certification exam
By the end of the course, attendees will be well-prepared to excel in the exam and enhance their professional qualifications in the field of reinforced concrete.

Attendees will be required to bring:
- ACI 318-14
- Concrete Manual (15 or 18)
- ASTM standards: C31, C33, C94, C138, C143, C150, C172, C173, C231, A615, C685, A706, A775, A1064
All other materials will be provided by SN-ICC.
Check-in will begin at 7:30 a.m each Saturday (6 total). Snacks and beverages will be available throughout the class.
