A New 4-Month Regimen for Non-Severe Tuberculosis in Children (based on the SHINE trial) - Webcast

This webcast is designed for physicians, nurses, and public health staff who are actively engaged in the identification, case management, and treatment of pediatric and adolescent patients with tuberculosis (TB) infection or disease.

The goal of this webcast is to provide participants with updates from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) Red Book: 2021 – 2023 Report of the Committee on Infectious Diseases on the implementation of SHINE (Shorter Treatment for Minimal Tuberculosis in Children), a shortened TB regimen to treat children under the age of 17 years who have minimal, non-severe TB disease to improve treatment outcomes.
