Boston Sports and Shoulder Center is excited to present the Orthopedic Work Injury Conference on Fri Oct 20 2023 at 7:30am. This in-person event will be held at The Conference Center at Waltham Woods, 860 Winter Street, Waltham, MA 02451. The conference is designed to bring together orthopedic experts, nurse case managers, utilization professionals and physical therapists.
Attendees will have the opportunity to hear from industry leaders and participate in interactive sessions covering topics such as workplace ergonomics, injury prevention, and both non-surgical and surgical treatment options. The conference will also feature demonstrations and exhibits showcasing the latest advancements in orthopedic technology and equipment.
At the completion of this program, participants will be able to:
Describe the causes and presentation of orthopedic work-related injuries.
Analyze the appropriate diagnostic steps for evaluation of work injuries.
Discuss nonoperative and surgical treatment options for work-related musculoskeletal injuries.
Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of rehabilitation and recovery processes.
Identify effective new orthopedic technologies to accelerate return to work.
