Food for Function

8-24-23

Virtual attendance = Live credit!

Simple can be successful! By including basic nutrition information in a holistic approach to rehabilitation of patients and clients with neuromusculoskeletal conditions, clinicians can improve a patient's compliance and response to therapy. This new virtual workshop is interactive and engaging with Q&A, small group discussions, polls, and quizzes. Short virtual labs will allow you to complete activities that you can later include in patient education for optimal functional outcomes.

  • Implications of dietary insufficiencies and deficiencies in the management of patients with neuromusculoskeletal conditions
  • Overview of macronutrients, micronutrients, and phytonutrients and their physiological effects
