Certified Fiber Optic Technician Training Courses 

CFOT - Certified Fiber Optic Technician (November 13-15, 2023 from 8:00am-5:00pm)

CFOS/T - Certified Fiber Optic Specialist in Testing and Maintenance (November 15-16, 2023 from 8:00am-5:00pm)

CFOS/S - Certified Fiber Optic Specialist in Splicing (November 17, 2023 from 8:00am-5:00pm)

CFOS/O - Certified Fiber Optic Specialist in Outside Plant (November 18, 2023 from 8:00am-5:00pm)

CFOS/H - Certified Fiber Optic Specialist in Fiber to the Home (November 19, 2023 from 8:00am - 5:00pm)

Introductory and advanced training for anyone interested in becoming a Certified Fiber Optic Technician. This program prepares students to take the CFOT (Certified Fiber Optic Technician), CFOS/T (Certified Fiber Optics Specialist in Testing and Maintenance), CFOS/S (Certified Fiber Optics Specialist in Splicing), CFOS/O (Certified Fiber Optic Specialist in Outside Plant), and CFOS/H (Certified Fiber Optic Specialist in Fiber to the Home) certification exams. Exams are taken during training.

This week-long training takes students through all three certifications with theory and hands-on activities. Students MUST complete the CFOT certification prior to entering the CFOS/T, CFOS/S, CFOS/O, and CFOS/H courses. If you intend on taking all three or all five, you MUST register for all of them at this time. If you are currently CFOT certified, you can register for any other combination of courses. If you are not CFOT certified, you MUST register for CFOT. You can also register for addtional courses due to CFOT being taught first.
