13th Annual Hope in a Handbag
Benefitting Safer Futures, Portage County's Only Domestic Violence Shelter & Resource Center
Safer Futures' annual Hope in a Handbag is quickly approaching, and we're excited to announce both a new venue and bidding format for this year's event!
As many of you may know, Hope in a Handbag is our annual fundraiser to help support our critical victim services here in Portage County. And with it, and your support, we are able provide over 2,200 shelter nights and assist over 1,300 survivors through our crisis line and resource referrals each year.
Please join us for a night of purse bingo, 50/50 and basket raffle, small plates provided by Taproot Catering, and spirits at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Kent as we raise funds to ensure that survivors and their children have somewhere to turn to for help.
