Night on the Milky Way Train
“Milky Way Station! Milky Way Station!”
We would like to share a ticket to limitless imagination with you, to go on a journey with Giovanni and the ensemble in Kenji Miyazawa’s “Night on the Milky Way Train”, for our second Global Book Café on August 26, 2023 in Asia-Pacific time zones.
This masterpiece novella, published posthumously in 1943, is one of Japan’s greatest classics, akin in Japan to Charlotte's Web in the English-speaking world.
We invite you to join this Global Book Café and listen together to each of our “Night on the Milky Way Train” experiences; where that journey took you, and where it inspires you to go next.
Original title in Japanese: “Ginga Tetsudou no Yoru”
