Oktoberfast is the signature, multi-day, multi-region event for the Silver Sage Region of the Porsche Club of America. It is sponsored by the Village at Meridian, Porsche Boise and the Silver Sage Region. The event includes a Kick-Off dinner on Friday night; a drive on Saturday morning; a winery tour also on Saturday morning; and culminates with the Porsche Car Show on Sunday. This year the dates are Friday, September 22 through Sunday, September 24.

Oktoberfast’s popularity and participation continue to impress, thanks primarily to the efforts of all the participants, sponsors, and volunteers. Our venues include the StoneHouse restaurant, local wineries, local highways, Porsche Boise and The Village at Meridian. As a weekend long event, we have been honored to have guests from several regions and excellent PCA participation. The show is open to all Porsches and non-PCA members are welcome.

This is the start of the Silver Sage Region PCA charity effort and our chosen charity this year is City of Good. Representatives will be present at the dinner on Friday night and will be in attendance at the show on Sunday. Net proceeds from Oktoberfast, our annual Big O Tire raffle and day of event Village at Meridian gift card raffles will go to the charity.

(Friday, September 22, 6:00pm-10:00pm)

Festivities will begin on Friday night, September 22, with a welcome dinner at the RAM's StoneHouse restaurant. The Kick-Off dinner is partially sponsored by Porsche Boise. Great food and drink will be available and an introduction to the weekend events will be presented. Our charity will also have a spot to pitch their worthy cause. This is a great opportunity for PCA’ers and their guests to mingle and get acquainted before the weekend events. Participation is limited to 100 people and the cost for dinner is $35.

(Saturday, September 23, 8:00am-Noon)

Meet at Porsche Boise on Saturday, September 23 at 8:00am; the “Coffee and Porsche” partcipants assemble for a pre-run driver meeting and of course… coffee and donuts. The drivers will leave the Porsche dealership at around 8:30am and drive until noon.  They will get exposure to Boise area scenery, some awesome stretches of highway and mountain roads. Bring a full tank of gas and, if you have one, an FRS/GMRS radio tuned to channel 5.1. Entry is free thanks to Porsche Boise and there is no limit on the number of cars that can participate.

(Saturday, September 23, 9:30AM-1:00PM)

The 2023 Oktoberfast Wine Tour will be a "walking, urban tour", in nearby Garden City (park once, then visit three wineries/tasting rooms, all within a 5 min. walk from each other). We will meet at Porsche of Boise at 9:00 am Saturday morning--they will have coffee and breakfast items for us.  After a driver's meeting about 9:30, we will drive to Coiled Winery, where we will taste 3 wines.  We will leave there and walk to Split Rail Winery, and taste 3 of their wines. The last stop will be a new-to-Boise winery, Proletariat, where we will taste 4 wines, and have our pre-ordered box-lunches, Cost for the wine tour is $50 per person--includes all wine flights, taxes, gratuities and a box lunch. If sold out (no lunches available) contact Linda Prusynski to be put on the waitlist.

(Sunday, September 24, 10:30am-4:00pm)

Of course, the weekend’s main event is the Porsche Car Show held on the picturesque streets of The Village at Meridian on Sunday, September 24. That means prior to the event; elbow grease, wax, polish, and speed shine have been meticulously applied to 140 beautiful Porsches.

Volunteers will arrive early to park cars and set up the membership, charity, and awards stage. Cars start arriving at 10:30AM and are parked by 11:30AM in their assigned areas in the Village. The show starts at noon and is over by 4:00PM with awards and prizes announced at 3:30PM in a ceremony at the stage. Activities for participants include judging their favorite cars, a poker walk, shopping and dining. There are many great stores and restaurants at the Village.

This event requires registration and there is a $25 fee for participants and includes an Oktoberfast T-shirt, professionally designed by our own Ernie Monroe, featuring last years’ Best of Show car, the Python Green GT4. Additional cars can be registered for $15 (no T-shirt). Items available for purchase with your registration include additional shirts, the Silver Sage lapel pin, and beer mugs. This event is limited to 140 cars.

Oktoberfast T-shirts are always popular and we want everyone to have the opportunity to purchase them. One is provided as part of any first car registration for Sunday's show. In addition, you will be able to purchase a first or additional T-shirts as a part of Oktoberfast registration even if you do not show a car. This year's design features last year's Best of Show winner, the Python Green GT4. T-shirts will only be available as a preorder during the registration period so don't miss out on the opportunity.

Silver Sage logo lapel pins are available. They are 1½" Cloisonné Nickel-Plated with two clutch back attachment. The pin features the Silver Sage logo in full color.

T-Shirts and lapel pins must be picked up at the car show unless special arrangements are made. If you are not showing your car, use the promo code NOCARSHOW when you order your shirt(s).

Registration will close on September 9, 2023.
The show is limited to 140 entries.

Non PCA members are welcome to participate but it is a Porsche only show.

Oktoberfast is not affiliated with any particular hotel. There are many great hotels in the area including Hotel 43 in Boise, The Riverside Hotel in Boise and the Courtyard by Marriott in Meridian as well as others. Our out-of-town participants should pick the hotel of their choice and arrange their reservations accordingly.
