Featured Presentation: "Enriching Our Dogs' Lives" by Devene Godeau CPDT-KA  Devene is one of the original trainers of the very popular and highly sought-after Greyhounds Only class.  At our Event, she will be presenting her workshop "Enriching Our Dogs Lives". Canine enrichment has become a buzzword over the last few years, but what is it? How does it benefit our dogs? How does it benefit us? When executed correctly, enrichment can: Increase a dogs confidence, Build problem solving skills, Reduce stress and Stimulate brain growth! Dogs can benefit from both passive and active enrichment opportunities.  During this workshop we'll further discuss why it is so important, and easy ways to add enrichment to your dog's life. Devene will be accompanied by her greyhound Buddy, and will use him and other greys in attendance to demonstrate one of the biggest trends in canine enrichment: Nosework. Yes, even sighthounds can play the nosework game!

10:30am - 12:30pm  Fun Run w/ Photo Finish Pics Open  Greys will run individually against the stopwatch! Will your dog place 1st, 2nd, 3rd or get the award for "Best Effort"? (Closed for lunch 12:30-1pm)

11:30am  The Senior Greyhound Parade Set to music "anniversary dance" style, we'll be celebrating our greys seven years & older and prizes will be awarded

12 - 1pm Lunch  This is a pre-paid, catered meal that requires your choice during Online Registration to provide Bigfoot Smokehouse with an accurate advanced order. Very limited meals may be available for purchase on Event Day (on a first come basis) but, if you know you're gonna wanna eat, Register/Order No Later than September 20!

12:30pm GEM Foster Family Appreciation Shout-Out  Join us in celebrating the ones that gave our greyhound his/her start as the best companion ever!
