Thursday, September 21st: In-person Grant Info Session with the SW MN Arts Council 

7-8 pm at The Murray County Historical Museum, 2480 29th St, Slayton. 

Learn about SW MN Arts Council (SMAC) grant opportunities for the coming year (July 1, 2023 - June 30, 2024), including updates to guidelines and deadlines. SMAC funding is available for organizations, cities/tribal nations, artists, schools, and youth in the SW MN region. (There will also be treats from The Plaid Moose!)

Provides up to $500 to allow young artists in grades 5-12 to attend
an enrichment camp or specialty study.  Costs for standard weekly lessons are allowed for students who qualify for the federal free or reduced lunch program.  Arts supplies costs are allowed for students attending a MN public arts high school. No match requirements.
