Restorative Justice in Schools:

Elementary School Tier 1

August 14, 2023

(In-Person)

Restorative Justice is a proactive approach that is used in schools to build community, prevent and address harm and conflict, and help students positively re-integrate into school after an absence. This training will introduce educators to the concept of restorative justice and provide strategies for implementing tier 1 community building restorative practices in elementary schools such as talking circles and daily restorative check-ins.

This workshop is FREE for participants. 5.5 Professional Development credits are available to educators who attend the entire workshop.

We invite you to give yourself the opportunity to be fully present in both body and mind during this workshop. Restorative Justice is a way of being and a set of practices that requires we be fully present. If you will not be able to keep your camera on and stay engaged in the activities for the entirety of the workshop, we kindly ask that you sign up for a future date.

"NO SHOW" Policy: If you register and do not attend the workshop, we will notify you that you have been placed on the "No Show" list. Should this occur THREE times, you will be removed from our email list and all future registrations will be canceled.
