The National Child Welfare Workforce Institute (NCWWI) is excited to invite you to our Communicators' Forum for communications professionals that support public, private, and tribal child welfare programs.
Join us quarterly to brainstorm ideas and discuss best practices on a particular issue, and network with colleagues around the country.
SECOND FORUM: Tuesday, August 15, 2023, 2:00 - 3:00 pm ET
TOPIC: Social Media Strategies in a Shifting Environment
When used strategically, social media is a powerful tool to increase awareness, spur engagement, and build peer-to-peer influence. With so many platforms and more coming online each year, it can feel overwhelming to get started. Should you have a presence on Facebook? Instagram? Twitter (now X)? LinkedIn? Threads? All of the above? How often should you post? What do you do if someone posts a disparaging comment?
During this session, we will share tips on engaging with the community and supporting the workforce using social media platforms and explore strategies for integrating your social media strategy into your communications efforts. Join us for what is sure to be a great conversation!
