1. Understand how NIL has changed amateur sports
2. Analyze tax and legal consequences of NIL
3.  Compare Oklahoma's NIL statutes to other states

About Jonna:  Jonna Vanderslice is a corporate attorney who represents clients in a wide range of commercial and business matters.

A 2022 honors graduate of the Oklahoma City University School of Law, Jonna was a Hatton W. Sumners Foundation Scholar and received the CALI Award for Excellence in Constitutional Law II and Children in the Law. While in law school, she published her Comment, You’ve Hit Your Boiling Point, Caveat Emptor, as a member of the Oklahoma City University Law Review and served as a Student Fellow for Civil Procedure I and II.

Prior to law school, Jonna graduated summa cum laude from the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2018. In 2019, she graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a Master of Education in Adult and Higher Education. While at OU, Jonna was recognized as the Outstanding Senior Woman, selected as one of the top ten students in her graduating class, and was a recipient of the Distinguished Undergraduate Research Award.

Born and raised in Weatherford, Oklahoma, Jonna now calls Norman home. She is a sports enthusiast, amateur landscape artist, and ice cream connoisseur, and in her spare time, she enjoys traveling with friends and family and training for her next race.

CPE Credits are based on a 50-minute hour. State boards of accounting have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. Attendee accepts responsibility to determine if the course meets acceptable guidelines set forth by their reporting authority.
