This course introduces the prophetic books of the Old Testament/Hebrew Bible (Isaiah, Jeremiah, Hosea, Amos, et al.). Special attentionis given to historical, literary, and theological issues pertinent toprophecy. Reading and exegeting scriptural texts for contemporaryministry are of central import.
