Beginning Group Guitar - McPherson Elementary

 

The Tuesday Class is full. We have opened a class on Wednesdays at 2:55 - 3:40

The Group Guitar class is the perfect experience for beginning guitarists who want to try the instrument in a group of friends. They'll begin working on reading guitar chords and learning basic strumming patterns to apply to their favorite pop tunes, have lots of historical listening. The class is a great way to try out the guitar and see if it's a good instrument for you, before you begin private lessons.

• Ages 2nd through 5th grades
• Tuition $240
• Tuesdays (FULL) and Wednesdays 2:55 - 3:40
• September 13 - December 13 - No class on Nov 22
• We offer both a full tuition and split payment plan. Please carefully read the options during check out.

Class will be limited to 4 students and will be filled in the order registration is received. Once registration is filled with 4 students, additional students will be accepted on a waitlist. If another 4 students register, a second class may be scheduled immediately following the Tuesday 2:55-3:40pm class.

Students who have previously taken Group Guitar class should contact Musical Chairs about transitioning to private instruction. 

Students must provide a spiral notebook for the class. McPherson will provide guitars. 

Group Guitar is held at McPherson school. Musical Chairs faculty will meet students in the designated instruction room. After class, students can be picked up by caregivers or return to aftercare.

Makeups are not available for group classses if the student has to miss a class.

Students are expected to follow instructions from the teacher and be respectful at all times. Should discipline be an issue we will first reach out to parents. If a problem continues we may regretfully ask students to forfeit the remainder of the session to ensure quality of instruction for all students.
