Purpose
Whether you are a social worker, mental health provider, or work in the medical profession, it is nearly impossible to not have social or political uncertainty, let alone real conversation that will continue to come up with clients. This training focuses on how today’s political and social unrest impact our clients from a post traumatic growth perspective, inspiring systemic change within self and community.
Daren Ford, LCSW
Daren Ford, LCSW is a mental health provider in private practice who specializes in complex trauma and traumatic growth. Daren has been working in the field of social work for over 17 years, facilitating trainings in trauma informed care and addiction medicine. He has also been faculty for Portland State University and Oregon Health and Science University, teaching students and medical providers about addictions, trauma, family systems, and how mental health impacts the overall community.
