Burnout Prevention and Management for Mental Health Professionals 

This training event will award 2 contact hours for LMSW and LCSW with the NYSED State Board for Social Work and 2 contact hours for LMHC and LMFT with the NYSED State Board for Mental Health Practitioners and 2 CASAC renewal credits.

 

In this session, participants will learn the difference between burnout, stress, compassion fatigue, and moral injury, including red flags and symptoms of burnout, as well as the prevalence of burnout in the mental health field. We will also discuss the role our values play in our own stress management. Participants will be educated on Polyvagal Theory and how our nervous system holds stress and is responsible for our emotional regulation. We will map our nervous systems and learn tools to implement to manage emotional and stress responses for more psychological flexibility. 

**THIS TRAINING WILL REQUIRE INTERACTIVITY TO HAVE THE BEST EXPERIENCE. PLEASE BE PREPARED TO SPEAK/USE THE CHAT FUNCTION AND POTENTIALLY DO PERSONAL WELLNESS EXERCISES**

This training will be offered via ZOOM. Pre-registration is required and will be closed on 9/8/2023 (or when attendance capacity is reached). A Zoom link will be made available to you 48 hours prior to event date.

YOU HAVE TO UTILIZE YOUR DEVICE CAMERA IN ORDER TO RECEIVE CEUs. You must be able to watch the webinar, calling in alone without watching the presentation will not meet requirements for contact hours.
