Angela Mayorga attended Creighton Medical School and then completed the combined internal medicine/psychiatry residency program at The University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City, KS. After residency, Dr. Mayorga completed an internal medicine chief year. After the chief year, Dr. Mayorga joined the psychiatry department at KU and has been there ever since. She is currently an associate professor of both psychiatry and internal medicine, program director for the psychiatry residency program, co-director for the internal medicine/psychiatry residency program, and psychiatric consultant to the liver transplant program at KU. Her favorite job is mom to 2 children who keep her very busy!
