Growing Up WILD invites you to explore and share the fascinating world of  wildlife and ecosystems using fun, hands-on educational activities. You will  experience engaging TEKS-aligned activities while networking with other educators. 

Workshop participants receive:

• 3 hours TEA-approved CPE and TEEAC Credit
• Growing Up WILD early childhood guide
• Texas-specific resources

Anyone who works with young children, including teachers, homeschoolers, informal educators, and scout leaders, is welcome.

Dress for active engagement in an outdoor classroom. Be prepared for an afternoon in the natural settings of the  Eastman Nature Center with no indoor facilities or utilities. (porta-potties available)

Bring drinking water, sun screen, bug spray, or whatever you will need to be comfortable.  

The $35 workshop fee is generously covered by Eastman. 

Space is limited and preregistration is requred.  Deadline October 20, 2023. 

WILD materials are distributed only with requisite hours of training.  Attendance and participation in the entire experience are required to receive any of the materials, regardless of fee payment.
