Adult Life- What Can it Look Like?

This session is focused on looking at the whole life and what transitioning to adulthood means for the whole family.

This month we are are pleased to feature Darla Helt, the Executive Director PEACE as our speaker. From local Parent Coalition leader and tireless advocate, Darla has provided an unmeasurable amount of support and assistance to local families in Clark County. Darla continues to be a huge help to the Clark County Transition Series. If you haven't heard Darla present in person before, you are in for a treat!

Please join us November 15th to get information about important considerations to make when thinking about and planning for a safe and happy future for the whole family.

Student Workshop:

PEACE NW Staff will be facilitating a Vision Board workshop for youth during November’s Transition Training Series.

During the workshop, students can expect to use words, pictures, and stickers to create small poster boards to help them visualize their dreams and goals for the future.

What job do they want?
What place do they want to live?
How will they decorate their homes?

We will be using markers, scissors, tape, and glue. For any health and safety or accessibility needs, please email Hattie Stigum at hatties@peacenw.org.

Please note that this is not a drop off event. Parents, guardians, or caregivers will need to remain on site during the workshop.
