This class offers skills & techniques to officers & other first responders who interact with people who are in crisis or a near crisis state. Strategies and techniques around non-escalation and de-escalation will be presented to assist with providing additional tools for officers.
Participants will receive a Certificate of Attendance and Student Manual.

This course seeks to provide police officers with the tools,skills, and options they need for successfully deescalating crisis incidents.
This course explores current trends in de-escalation techniques and follows the foundations of the Law Enforcement De-Escalation Training Act of 2022, recently passed in congress and signed by President Biden.
This course helps officers become emotionally intelligentand situationally aware so they can respond effectively to others in crisis.
Officers will learn non-escalation techniques and tactically sound response methodology that will improve their communication and de-escalation skills and response options, reduce use of force incidents, and help build strong relationships in the communities they serve.
