Harness the Power of Emotional Intelligence
Join us September 11, 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. for an interesting and informative Lunch and Learn discussion presented by Julia Vickery on Emotional Intelligence. Julia joined Abell-Hanger Foundation in July 2022 as program manager, overseeing the Students in Philanthropy and Leadership Acceleration Program.
According to Korn Ferry (2023), “In professional and technical fields, people are typically in the top 20% of intelligence. Being clever helps. They’re smart, skilled, knowledgeable. They meet the threshold. So what differentiates the very best within the top 20%? Employers consistently list the following areas: Communication (being able to listen, converse and present), Adaptability (creative responses to setbacks and obstacles), Personal Management (motivation to work, pride, a desire to develop), Interpersonal Effectiveness (teamwork, co-operation, the skills to negotiate), and Organizational Effectiveness (leadership potential, the desire to make a contribution)." Come learn more about Emotional Intelligence and how the development of EI in all stakeholders can elevate organizations.
*Lunch will be provided*
