Kelly Chando, CFRE | Director of Development, St. Luke's University Health Network - Anderson Campus
Kelly Chando is Director of Development for St. Luke’s University Health Network where she raises funds to help provide quality, affordable healthcare and other social services for thousands of patients and families each year.
Chando is deeply committed to her community and has previously served as Vice President of Engagement for the Women’s Business Council of the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce and member of the Board of Governors for the Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce. Additionally, Chando co-chaired several record-breaking events, including the 2016 and 2017 Lehigh Valley Women’s Summit, and helped raised over $100,000 for the American Heart Association’s 2019 Go Red for Women Campaign and Annual Luncheon.
An active committee member, Chando also supports Northampton Community College Foundation’s Annual Lehigh Valley Food and Wine Festival, The Girl Scouts of Eastern Pennsylvania’s Take the Lead event, and local chapters of the Cystic Fibrosis and Preeclampsia Foundations. She has invested her time, talent, and resources into countless organizations across the region to move their missions forward, and to play a small part in making the Lehigh Valley one of the greatest places for opportunity and success.
A graduate of Temple University with a degree in Broadcasting, Telecommunications and Mass Media, Chando later worked as a production assistant at MTVU and member of the marketing and creative services team for NBC Sports Group. Prior to her role at St. Luke’s, Chando spent 8 years at United Way of the Greater Lehigh Valley, raising a collective $9.6 million through her leadership and major gift roles that would directly impact women, children, and seniors in Lehigh and Northampton counties. Chando acknowledges that it was at this point in her career when she found significant passion and purpose in fund development and volunteerism.
The recipient of several leadership awards, Chando was previously profiled in Lehigh Valley Style’s Volunteer Spotlight, was among the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s “Finest Under Forty,” and received the distinguished ATHENA Young Professional Award. In 2020, she was also recognized by Lehigh Valley Business as a “40 Under 40 Woman to Watch,” “Woman of the Year” by YWCA Bethlehem, and in 2021, Kelly was named a “40 Under 40” by the National Association of Healthcare Philanthropy.
An avid runner, Chando can often be found utilizing one of the many nearby trails during her free time. She resides in Easton with her husband, Mark; her sons, Cael (5) and Austin (2); and fur baby, Mindy (8).
Corissa Rolón, MA CFRE | Executive Director & CEO, Burn Prevention Network
Corissa (Cori) built her career by bringing for-profit business savvy and a focus on results—that is, helping people—to non-profit organizations. Her strengths include development strategy, visioning, stewardship best practices, innovative marketing, effective grant management, and program performance evaluation.
As the Executive Director and CEO of the Pennsylvania statewide non-profit, Burn Prevention Network (BPN), she serves as the only development staff for the organization. She is honored to join hundreds of firefighters, EMS employees, medical caregivers, social workers, government officials, educators, researchers, funders, and other community stakeholders who are working every day to better the lives of Pennsylvania’s burn survivors and their families, and to reduce the risk of others being burned.
Rolón graduated with a Bachelor of Science in business administration and a minor in Spanish from Kutztown University and a Masters of the Arts in Sociology from Lehigh University. She started her development career as the Development Officer at Casa Guadalupe Center and spent the past 20+ years in management roles at United Way of the Greater Lehigh Valley, Meals on Wheels of the Greater Lehigh Valley and other non-profits. She has run a successful Capital Campaign for a new building, started two major gift programs from scratch, developed a relational development training curriculum adopted as a national best practice, and led a team that was twice awarded the United Way Worldwide Center of Excellence award for achieving a revenue increase of 27.4% ($3.2M) during a two-year period of industry decline.
Collective Impact is a particular passion for Rolón. She led the Lehigh Valley Alliance on Aging in reducing the institutionalization rate of seniors in the Lehigh Valley from 13% to 3.5% over a five-year period -- the largest decrease in the country. This continues to save the federal government an estimated $2B a year and demonstrated the value of in-home supportive services, leading the way to Medicare/Medicaid reform across the country. She also served as the lead civilian writer of the first version of Medicare/Medicaid reform in Pennsylvania.
Rolón has lived in Allentown for the past 24 years. She has four children who are all adults and loves to spend time with her three grandchildren – Aubrey (10) and twins Layne (2) and Jerry (2).
