2023 SUMA Regional Meetings

Open to mayors, councillors, and administration from SUMA member municipalities, regional meetings are an opportunity to discuss common issues with others from your region, take in an education session, and learn what SUMA is doing. The 2023 regional meetings will also continue consultations on SUMA's governance review. 

If you have topics that you would like to see discussed during the Regional Discussion please send them to Southwest Regional Director, Kyle Bennett, at southwest@suma.org. 

The Southwest Regional Meeting will be taking place: 

Tuesday October 17
9:00 a.m. to 4:15 p.m.
Assiniboia
Prince of Wales Cultural and Recreation Centre
201 3rd Ave West

You are invited to join us on October 16 starting at 6:00 p.m. for an informal event hosted by Assiniboia at the Southland Co-op Centre (200 3rd Ave West). Virtual golf, the climbing wall, and pickle ball courts will be open to use. There is no additional fee to attend this event. Food and drink (alcoholic and non alcoholic) are available for purchase at the facility. We hope to see you there!

Please note: When registering, you will be asked for a 'main contact', once you have filled this section our you will need to "add" and enter the information for all attendees from your municipality, including the main contact if you are attending, to complete the registration.

Invoices will be sent to your municipality following your regional meeting.

Registration closes on October 11, 2023. Cancelations will not be accepted after that date, subsittions are allowed at any time.
