GFRW Board of Directors Fall 2023 Meeting & 33rd Biennial Convention 

This is the Official Call for the GFRW 2022 Fall Board Meeting, Executive Committee meeting and the 33rd Biennial Convention. GFRW officers for 2024-25 will be elected at the Biennial Convention on Saturday. These meetings will be conducted at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Augusta, GA.

In accordance with the Bylaws of the Georgia Federation of Republican Women (Article VIII, Sec. 1 [B], I, Pamela Lightsey, President of GFRW, hereby issue the Official Call to the Georgia Federation of Republican Women's Board of Directors Meeting, the 33rd Biennial Convention and the GFRW District Conventions. Delegated representatives of the members of GFRW are requested to present themselves for this Convention on October 20, 3:00 PM in Augusta, Georgia. 

Included with this Call is the Convention Agenda including such business as should properly be conducted by the delegates, including election of officers for the 2024-2025 term, adoption of resolutions, hear committee reports, and any additional business appropriate for consideration.

This is the Official Call for the GFRW 2023 Fall Board Meeting and 33rd Biennial Convention. I am delighted to invite you to join us at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Augusta, GA. 

GFRW has a lot to celebrate over the past two years, including an increase in clubs across our great state! Many are getting ready for the NFRW National Convention in Oklahoma City this month and looking forward to sharing our experiences together with everyone at Convention and Training.

Resolutions 

Resolutions must be submitted in writing to the Chairman of the Committee within 10 days of the Call. Resolutions may be presented to the Convention only through the Resolution Committee and may not be presented as a motion by an individual or club.

District Meetings

Immediately following the Convention, District Directors will caucus with Delegates from Clubs in their District to elect new Directors for 2024-2025. Names of newly elected Directors are to be reported to First Vice President, Elaine Hollis, immediately following the caucus.
