Cemeteries as Gardens 

See how cemeteries first welcomed just the dead and grieving, and then became garden refuges full of life. Born out of necessity, cemeteries were the first green spaces in cities. Now, some serve as backdrops to community events and even as habitats for cherished plants and animals.
