Assessing risk is hard to do, and there is often no single “right way” to do it. Tools and methods are myriad, but it is difficult to select the right tool for the challenge an organization faces. Without a broad perspective, we commonly re-use risk assessment techniques we have used in the past or defer to outside help, which may impact an organization’s decision on insurance procurement, coverage, and claims management.
This session will leave you with a tool, based on the ISO 31010 standard, to help you expand your horizons and find the right risk assessment technique(s!) for the challenges your organization is facing. We will also explore several real-world examples of those methods in use.
This is an in-person education program. Registration is limited to 70 attendees. If your plans change and you can no longer attend, please email admin@warims.org.
