This is an educational workshop about inter-generational trauma within the Black and Latinx community and how it effects our children. As parents/guardians we also need to take care of ourselves! During this workshop we will engage in discussion about self care vs self love by exploring faulty beliefs and creating new healthy affirmations. Facilitated by Wellness for the Culture
This event has been sponsored by the Springfield Youth Mental Health Coalition (YMHC). The YMHC aims to distigmatize mental health in the Greater Springfield area and with community, determine preventative methods to safeguard youth mental health. One of our initiatives is to provide Community Education and Professional Development to those living and working in Springfield and surrounding areas.
To aid in the YMHC's ability to continue funding this initiative, after the training, please take about 4 minutes to complete this brief feedback survey. This also helps ensure we are providing trainings that are relevant to the current needs in our community.
Thank you again for signing up for this training!
Sincerely,
Tiffany R. Rufino
