OMWD Public Tour
Several times a year, OMWD offers tours of its facilities, including the Elfin Forest Recreational Reserve, David C. McCollom Water Treatment Plant and the 4S Ranch Water Reclamation Facility.
Tour Schedule
Tours are scheduled for the second Thursday of January, April, July, and October.

The January and April tours begin at 8:00 a.m. at OMWD's offices and end at approximately noon. Tours start at our 4S Ranch Water Reclamation Facility in July and October. Reservations must be made by noon on the Monday prior to the scheduled tour date.
Although this is a shuttled tour, there is some walking and stair climbing required, so we recommend wearing comfortable, closed-toe shoes and loose clothing. It is also suggested that attendees bring a hat, light jacket, and sunscreen.
Tours may be canceled or closed depending on the level of participation. For safety reasons, tours are not held during adverse weather conditions.
A Tour Release Form must be submitted for each participant.
