ENCORE PRESENTATION!

A unique, new 2 day CE event

 Friday, November 3, 2023 and Saturday, November 4, 2023

On-site attendance = Live credit!

As much as we love virtual CE, we know hands-on training is so very valuable in our PT/OT professions. So since being a leader means you have to go first, we are bringing back an old fashioned 2 day CE event -- all hands-on, in our clinic, with snacks and beverages!

A small group lab format and 2 instructors will facilitate an optimal learning experience.

All topics incorporate pre- and post-treatment assessments

so you can experience then apply these

effective, efficient "treatment pearls" to patient care immediately.

Topics and techniques include:

Manual therapy (MT) to address impaired posture, UQ and LQ pain, headaches, optimal breathing pattern, balance, hip and knee joint ROM, and more!
  • Craniofacial techniques --- Multiple 1st rib mobilizations --- Dorsal soft tissue and rib cage mobilization sequence --- Diaphragm stretch --- Hip and knee joint mobilization --- Active mobilization to dysfunctional contractile tissues --- Circumferential soft tissue mobilization --- Multiple iliotibial band mobilizations --- Joint and soft tissue sequence for the foot
Exercise, activity, and movement (EAM) to sustain gains made with manual therapy above plus prescribe home exercise programs including self-care will be focused. Low tech, inexpensive props that are accessible to most patients will be utilized. Functional movements and muscle mobility will be emphasized in this eclectic approach.
