 Meeting Information

The next meeting of the Public Libraries Interest Group will be ONLINE on Monday, November 13th, at 10:00 am.  We hope you'll join us!

This meeting will be an "Outreach Roundtable" - come with an example of a recent outreach you've done and one you'd like to implement in the future.

We hope to see you there!

Interest Group Facilitator:  Claire Olson

Welcome to the public library interest group everyone! I work as the Community Literacy Projects Manager for the Jacksonville Public Library. I am passionate about the power and the possibility of public libraries. I'm especially interested in library outreach and how public libraries can serve the needs of their communities through collaboration and creativity. I think we all bring such talent and experience to our roles in the public library - it's what makes us all so cool! Join me this year as we explore the possibilities of our public libraries.

Cost: NEFLIN Interest Groups are free of charge and are open to NEFLIN members only.  Registration is strongly encouraged.

This project was funded either under the provisions of the Library Services and Technology Act from the Institute of Museum and Library Services or the Library Cooperative Grant program. Florida’s LSTA and LCG programs are administered by the Department of State’s Division of Library and Information Services.

For FY2022-23, the total state and federal budgets for NEFLIN's programs are $688,109. 42% of the total costs ($288,109) are supported by federal funds, and 58% of this program ($400,000) is supported by state funds.
